We are an architectural practice founded in 1983, and based in Newark, Nottinghamshire. Our best work is found in projects on sensitive or difficult sites or where design is of importance. We aim to establish good working relationships with Clients, Contractors, Local Authorities and other Consultants.

A large proportion of our work provides the full service from inception, through all stages to completion. However, we remain flexible in the professional services we provide in order to meet the needs of the client.

The practise was founded in 1983 and now consists of an Architect and an assistant. We do not specialise in any particular project or client type but our best work is found in projects on sensitive or difficult sites, or where design is of importance. We aim to establish good working relationship with Clients, Contractors, Local Authorities and other Consultants, and to produce a high quality of design work in the context of local vernacular.
Architect-3Clients and Schemes
Approximately 90% of our work is domestic; new building individual houses, smaller sites of four and five houses and occasionally larger sites of 20 to 30 houses. We are still doing barn conversions both to residential, office and holiday let and we have carried out Housing Association Projects since 1985 including New Build Housing for Sale and for new flats under the Short lease schemes; Refurbishment of Hostel accommodation; Conversion and extension to a Listed Building to provide Foyer accommodation, Flats for the mentally handicapped and some competition schemes.

ArchitectGeographical Area
Newark is an excellent centre for communications, the A1 enables rapid travel to the north and south and the A46 to the east and west. This enables us to cover a large geographical are and our work is spread quite evenly over Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Rutland, although we have carried out occasional schemes in London, Oxford, Swindon and overseas in France, Italy and United States.
Architect-Discussing-Plans_medServices
A large proportion of the work we undertake provides the full service from inception through scheme and detailed design, preparation of production information, specifications, inviting tenders, administering the work on site, through the maintenance period to completion. However we like to remain flexible in the professional services we provide in order to meet the needs of the client and are always very willing to discuss project management.
